The crazy drive to AZ...

We had a CRAZY drive to AZ! We ran into all different kinds of weather and situations. It got as hot as 117*, with the humidity feeling like 100%! John drove his car and we drove the van. John's cars air conditioning did not work. I felt really sorry for him! Everyone that drove with John seemed to keep their cool. Well, sort of! Christina kind of lost it at times! Hehehe Jessica kept having bloody noses, so Christina told her to use a tampon because we were out of tissues. I guess it was still being used for what it was made for. KINDA! Thankfully it was a good drive with NOTHING bad. We all made it safely to AZ. Lake Shasta was down a lot due to the water shortage in CA.

Horseback riding in Williams, AZ...

Bob and the kids went horseback riding in the morning. The stables were just outside of our hotel room there in Williams, AZ. They had a lot of fun and really loved their horses. Jessica LOVES horses and wants to live on a farm when she grows up and says she wants a LOT of horses there.

Williams, AZ...

We stopped in Williams, AZ, which is where the old ROUTE 66 hwy goes through. So we "GOT OUR KICKS" on Route 66 I guess you can say.

Visiting with Deb and her kids, and Ashley & Gentry...

We stopped on our way to AZ with John to visit at Deb's mother-in-laws house, Anne, to also visit with Ashley & Gentry. It was great to see them all again, and we really were happy that they all could see John one last time before he went away to college. We had a blast there swimming and visiting with eachother.

Visiting the Craigs...

On our way home we visited with my life long friend and her family, Cynthia & Garette Craig, and their kids Rhette (JR.), and Alison. I haven't seen Cynthis for 11 years, so it was very nice to visit and stay the night. As usual, Cynthia's daughter just loved Bob, as do all little girls that sees him! Rhette w

as a ham, and just kept wanting to play with everyone! It was GREAT to see them again! Unfortunately, we did not get to see Garrette due to his work as a fireman.

The Grand Canyon...

After we dropped john off in AZ at his college where he will be going, we drove up to the Grand Canyon. It was beautiful. Here are just a few pictures that we took from both the ground, and the airplane ride that we took over head.
