Christina's D.C. Trip.....

Christina had a great time on her 8th grade graduation trip with her school, up until they were all starnded there for 2 days because their flight got cancelled. UUUGGGHHHHH!!! She called crying about it daily! She was very happy to get home, and states that she won't be taking any more trips with out family.

LAUREN HAS ARRIVED!!! "-)

Well, Lauren is finally here to stay, and we couldn't be happier!!! We are excited that she is here and she is happy to be here too! YEEAAAHHHH!!!!! "-)

Summer fun in our pool...

We finally got our pool up and done and now the kids get to enjoy it all hot summer long!

John placed 19th out of 300 people in the Live Strong, Portland Challenge...

We are so very proud of Johnathan! He signed up last minute to run in the Portland, LIVESTRONG CHALLANGE, hosted by Lance Armstrong. He did this all by himself and with no one to do it with him. He did this in honor of Peg Barker, ME (Danelle Barker), and in memory of my mother, Diane Davis. He trained for just a few weeks, but placed GREAT!!! He came in 19th place out of 300+ people. He was so excited about it and so are we for him! GREAT JOB JOHN!!! You have made your Mother proud!!! "-) There is also a picture of John with Mari Holden, who is the Womens World Champion Olympic Silver Medalist.

~THE ULTIMATE BRAIN FREEZE~

Well, John decided to learn the hard way today what the ultimate brain freeze felt like. He was dared by his friend Stephanie to finish off all the smoothies at the table for $4.00. He did it, but learned what the ultimate brain freeze, AND chest freeze felt like. That just makes me so proud to know my own son can do stupid things like that for $4.00! Hehehe

~THE FORDE'S IN SAN DIEGO~

Ashley and Gentry are doing really good in Sunny San Diego, CA. They love it there and love to go out and see the sights! Of course they love going to the beaches when they have the time, which hasn't been very often yet, but hopefully soon! They got a new puppy a while back and named him GUNNY. They still have their cute kitty, Shamus, who we miss dearly! We can't wait to see them all soon! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

~LAUREN IS MOVING HERE~

Well, Lauren is going to be moving here to live with us and EVERYONE is excited about that! We will be picking her up at the end of this month to come here to live. She can't wait for school to be out so that she can come! We are excited to have her!

Jessica is very happy that school is over and Summer is now officially starting. Since we have had our pool up she has just wanted to go swimming in it, but it's been just too cold. Well, tomorrow will be her first time being able to swim, and she is VERY excited about that! :-)

~CHRISTINA'S 8TH GRADE GRADUATION~

Christina just graduated from Middle school today and is SOOOO excited about going to High school next year! We are really happy for her accomplishments this year!

JOHNATHAN'S GRADUATION

Well, John finally graduated from high school, and is now looking forward to leaving to go away for college next month to AZ. We are all excited for him to start on a new path in his life. We know that he will do great things!
