Mary's Peak, Oregon ~

I forgot to post these pictures from last week when we took a drive up to Mary's Peak about 1/2 hour away from us. Great views of the valley below! :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA ~

Today is Jessica's 14th birthday! She was advanced to the Mis-Maids Class in church, which is the 14-15 year old class. She had a great birthday party yesterday with lots of friends, swimming, cake and ice-cream and presents. She got a Nintendo DS from us and gift cards from everyone else, which she is spending on more games for her DS. The babbysitting DS game that she got was what Grandma & Grandpa Barker's gift card got her for her birthday present. She is REALLY excited about it! This is her 1st birthday that she hasn't asked for baby things for her birthday. I guess my baby is getting older! Although, she still plays with her babies and baby stuff! :-)

So Jessica will officially be 14 on the 12th this Sunday. The next day, Monday she will be going in to get her tonsils and adniods out. Please keep her in your prayers that day. ~

Bob and his job ~

So Bob was officially laid off almost 2 weeks ago. Yesterday he started to send out resumes and look for jobs. (He thought that the Russians would have called his job back by now and said that they needed them back to finish the job, but it didnt happen, obviously!) Yesterday afternoon he already had a call from a company by Moses Lake, WA. It would be a little bit diffeent than what he has been doing, but it would work if we had to take it. We will see what happens! ~
