The Barker Family.....

We love living here in the Pacific Northwest, in Albany, Oregon. It is a great place to live and our new neighborhood is very nice. The people are very nice too. We love our church down here. It has a lot of great people in it! We can't wait for people to come and visit us here at our new house!

Danelle (ME)

I have been at home now for some time. I have completed Johnathan, christina, Jessica, and the family scrapbook, and are currently working on Ashley's childhood one. i already completed Ashley and Gentry's wedding album. I have put genealogy on hold for awhile, and will pick back up after I get caught up on everyone's scrapbooks.

Bob (Rob)

Bob loves his new job working for Corvallis Tool Company. This coming up July 2008, he will be going to Russia for 1 month then home for 2 weeks then back again for 1 month. We will miss him when he is gone! He will be taking lots of pictures and sending them back and fourth to us while he is there. For a small company, they have a LOT of huge jobs coming up! It looks like Bob might also be looking at going to Uruguay, and Norway for some amounts of time too!

Jessica

Jessica is doing better in Jr. High school now. She was having some issues with it at the beginning of the year. But now they have her schedule and classes (Special Ed.) set right where they need to be. She has made some friends at school this year and at church that she hangs out with. her mornings are going better.

Christina (Binya - or - Stina)

Christina has had a really hard year this year with all of her sickness that was going on. She had an ovarian cyst that kept her out of school for 2 1/2 weeks, but finally got better. Yeahhhh!!! She is looking forward to going to High School next year and wants to play soccer and volley ball. She currently is trying out for the High School dance team. We hope that she makes it! She is always busy doing something with someone. She is looking forward to going to her 8th grade graduation trip to New York and D.C.

*****UPDATE*****

Christina did not make the dance team, but plans on taking a dance class this next year, so that she can make the team next year! We know that she will make it next year! They only picked 1 girl from each Jr. high school to be on the team. At least she is determined enough to try out again and make it next year!

LAUREN

Lauren is doing great this year in High School up in Victoria, B.C., Canada. She is getting good grades, and was just presented at a school function as one of the high Schools top students. She also just had some of her art presented in an art gallery up in Victoria, for everyone to see. This is a picture of her standing in front of the glass art that she did, and yes she did all of that! Once the gallery closes, that glass art will be hung in her local high school forever for everyone to see. It's beautiful! We really miss Lauren and can't wait to see her this Summer. She is currently thinking about moving down here to Albany, Oregon to live with us. We hope she decides to do it!

Johnathan (J.T.)

Johnathan is currently enrolled in West Albany high School, where he plans on graduating from this June 2008. In July 2008, he will be going to Collins College in Tempe, Arizona, where he will get a Bachelors of Arts in Game Design. Then he plans on going back to school to get a business degree. then he plans on starting up his own business. He is very excited about going to college this year and starting his life on his own. This year in High school he is a student with an "A" average. We are really proud of him!

The Forde's, Ashley & Gentry

Ashley, and her husband, Gentry Forde, are currently living in San Diego, California, where Gentry is stationed in the U.S. Marine Corp. Gentry is a helicopter mechanic. They love being in California! But, we miss them a lot! Ashley has a job working at Bath and Body Works, and love it! She also just went in for a modeling shoot, where they called her after getting a picture of her in Gentry's Marine's dress hat, and no make-up on, or her hair done. She is very excited about it!
